Headed out tomorrow Oct 16 for the fall hunt. Never hunted them in the fall before so it should be interesting. Since I cannot bait and the breeding season is long over I will have to go with another plan. Perhaps I can set up and intercept a flock between the roost and the bean and corn fields. I plan on using 2 hen decoys at do some putting and yelping and perhaps they will come close enough to blast. I don't really care if I get one as I harvested 2 toms this past spring.The only reason I am going out is to hunt with the land owner who has yet to harvest a turkey off his own property.
