My uncle used to trap turtles and sell them to a company that turned them into canned turtle soup. No joke. The company went out of business. Do any of you have an outlet for the turtles you trap? I don't even know if it's legal these days. I know where a pond is with at least 200 turtles in it. We can make most of them come up to the surface, too.

Turtle soup? I have never heard of it. I have never trapped turtles, but I do have one for a pet. I couldn't imagine eating one.

I think he sold the turtles to the Campbell Soup Company. They did used to make a line of turtle soup. I can't swear it was Campbell's, but at the time it was a popular soup company.
