So, which do you prefer?  Camping in a camper, or camping in a tent?  I camp in a tent, but that is only because we do not own a camper. We have a large, 3 room tent.  We have bed height air mattresses to sleep on.  When we are all unpacked and set up, our tent is about as comfortable as any camper, minus the bathroom.  I even bring my electric blanket for chilly summer nights since we camp up north a lot.

We have a tent that is only one room and we use an air mattress. If the weather takes a turn for the worse we end up sleeping in the back of the Blazer with the sleeping bags.

I'm perfectly fine with a tent when I'm by myself, but when I have the family with me we take a camper. My daughter is only two and we live in the south where 110 degree days in the summer is a common thing, so I like to have air conditioning for her.

I have a camper but with the price of gas on the rise and being on a fixed income I am thinking I might go back to a tent. My camper may become a storage unit for duck decoys and deer feed.
