I know the IR is supposed to be the best technology but i don't have the budget to spend right now.
Is there a huge difference in using flash? Some say flash will scare, other say it won't.
I am just looking for suggestions because i would like a cam but I don't have much to spend.  Don't Know

I've used both and haven't noticed a difference. I'm currently using a stealth cam, w/ IR after my other cam w/ flash just quit working. I haven't seen any difference in frequency or quantity of captures.

The only thing I have against flash is that it alerts other people who may be in the area and can help themselves to your gear. IR is nice but if you want color pictures you had better use a flash. good luck
