So, first out of the gate, I am totally new to hunting.
I have family that hunts and it has always interested me.
I am getting my license over the winter and my first firearm.
Still don`t know what I am going to get yet, but hopefully with some guidance, I can get the right one.

I live in southern Ontario, but plan to hunt up by Algonquin park area (not in the park).

Hope to use this as a learning experience and to hear from other hunters as well.

I am new to hunting too. Grew up a butchers son so it was not until I bought a few guns that I have become interested in hunting.
I went moose hunting this fall and as a group we got a cow and a calf. For shotgun season we only got a doe and a buck. Recently I bought a tree stand and a crossbow. On only my second time sitting in it i shot a nice doe about 15 yards out. That first kill has me addicted. I am so ready to learn more and tag more too!! javascript:void(0)

I live in southwestern Ontario and hunt moose and bear up near Charlton Ontario. I want to buy a place up there someday.
