Which do you prefer to hunt from, a ground blind or tree stand?  I prefer a tree stand in most cases because I like the elevation, and I hate ticks which are an issue in the fall.  If I'm hunting at the edge of a meadow or field, or if my hubby is with me, I like to hunt from a ground blind.

I think it depends on the circumstances. Sometimes a tree stand is the way to go, other times a ground blind is good. The ticks used to make me nervous when I lived in the northeast because of Lyme disease, but now that I live in the south I don't worry about it that much.

I am not really good with heights so I stay on the ground when I hunt. I live in the middle of a big field though so I don't really need the height anyway.

I have both a tree stand and a ground blind. It really just depends where I am hunting from what I choose to use. When I go to deer camp with my husband and friends I use my tree stand.

I vary it up a bit. Call me superstitious, but I like to do an even mix. If I used the stand last time, I'll go with the ground this time, and vice versa. At other times, I do both in the same day. I try to keep it even.
